VARO VR 360°

“VARO-VR” 360° Panoramic Image Generator+

The early 360° panoramic images were likely created with Apple QuickTime VR, which emerged in the mid-1990s. However, the widespread use of 360° images on commercial websites began during the popularity of Adobe Flash Player in the early 2000s. Creating these images required expensive equipment and complex stitching processes.
Google Street View, launched in 2007, revolutionized the accessibility of 360° imagery by capturing 360° images of streets worldwide using specialized camera-equipped vehicles. Facebook Photo 360, introduced in 2016, further democratized 360° content creation during the rise of smartphones. YouTube VR also significantly contributed to the distribution of 360° videos, especially with accessible high-quality equipment like GoPro Fusion (released in 2017) and Insta360.

In early 2024, Apple Vision Pro generated excitement in the VR world. After experiencing VR games and scenes, the desire to create 360° images with AI emerged.

  • VR Image InPaint: Fixes imperfections and adds elements, especially at image edges, through a VR-specific InPaint mode (Alpha version will be available soon).
  • VR Animate Layer: Adds transparent moving images or videos over the VR image at specified positions (to be released after VR InPaint).

Note/Tips:

  • Try generating VR360 images at https://varoriya.com/service/vr360
  • Prompts should include terms like “WIDE ANGLE SCENE” to ensure a broad view. Avoid close-up descriptions, especially of faces, to prevent distortion.
  • Use high resolution for 360° images to ensure clarity when viewed from all angles. Upscale the image by at least 2x once you’re satisfied with the result.
  • Edge seams will be visible initially. The VR-Inpaint tool will soon be available to fix these. Alternatively, use the spherical panorama tool in the 3D menu of Photoshop 2021 (not available in later versions).
